Delivery of the now more than 180k meals, 5,000 care boxes and numerous sundries including 22,000 Easter eggs had the potential to be a logistical nightmare.
From the outset, we were inundated with offers of help to get meals and treats to the frontline at 130 sites nationwide.
Logistic planning support (Connection Logistics, Smurfit Kappa), deliveries (An Post, Just Eat and an army of volunteers), courtesy vehicles and drivers (Volkswagen) together with a cool, calm and collected operations team ensured on-time delivery where and when it was needed.
